About Taman Harmoni 1
Taman Harmoni 1 (TH1) development was completed and ready for occupation in year 2001. Situated in Mukim Pulai of Skudai District and about 26km (15mins drive) from the vibrant city of Johor Bahru. Adjacent to Taman Sri Skudai, Taman Sri Putri, Skudai and Kg Melayu Bt 10 Skudai. Other housing areas nearby are Taman Ungku Tun Aminah (TUTA), Taman Skudai Baru, Taman Impian Emas, Taman Jaya Skudai, Taman Desa Skudai, Taman Universiti, Taman Pulai Utama, Mutiara Rini, Taman Pulai Perdana and Taman Sri Pulai.
If you are driving from Johor Bahru, the Majlis Perbandaran Johor Bahru Tengah administration building is just before the junction to Taman Harmoni 1.
The prestigious Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is only 5 minutes drive away.
From the latest surveys made in 2007, a little over 200 Muslims are residing in this community.

The Surau
Currently there are no surau/madrasah in TH1 even though an area has been designated/gazetted for the purpose. Realizing the importance of such community and spiritual centre, a committee has been set up to ensure this dream become a reality in the very near future.
However, money has been the biggest hurdle. A donation drive has been initiated earlier this year and so far less than MYR10,00.00 has been collected out of the MYR150,000 required to built the surau.
